Groundskeeper

Job Description Job Description Allos Properties is seeking an experienced and reliable Groundskeeper to join our full-time maintenance team. The Groundskeeper will be responsible for the upkeep, cleanliness, and appearance of our property grounds and common areas. This is a hands-on, physical role that requires attention to detail, consistency, and professionalism. Only serious, qualified candidates will be considered.   RESPONSIBILITIES   •       Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of property grounds, parking lots, walkways, and common areas •       Mow, trim, edge, and maintain lawns and landscaped areas on a regular schedule •       Remove trash, debris, and litter from all outdoor areas daily •       Perform seasonal duties including snow removal, salting walkways, and leaf cleanup •       Plant, water, and maintain flowers, shrubs, and other landscaping features •       Perform light exterior maintenance and repairs as needed (painting curbs, touching up fencing, etc.) •       Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment including mowers, blowers, trimmers, and snow equipment •       Report any property damage, safety hazards, or maintenance issues to management promptly •       Maintain a clean and organized storage area for all tools and equipment   REQUIREMENTS   •       Minimum 2 years of experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or a related field •       Ability to operate standard groundskeeping equipment safely and effectively •       Must be physically capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions •       Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform sustained physical labor throughout the workday •       Must have reliable transportation and a valid Michigan driver's license •       Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, well-kept properties •       Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision •       Professional conduct at all times while on company properties •       Must pass a background check prior to employment   COMPENSATION & BENEFITS   •       Hourly Pay: $15.00 – $20.00 per hour, based on experience •       Health benefits package included •       Retirement plan included •       Full-time, stable year-round employment Company Description Allos Properties is a family-owned real estate firm specializing in retail and commercial leasing throughout Southeast Michigan.
