In this role, you will drive the development and deployment of advanced analytics and AI/ML solutions to support Department of Defense mission objectives across Joint Staff Directorates.What You'll Be Doing:Design, develop, and operationalize predictive models, machine learning algorithms, and advanced analytics to solve mission-critical DoD use casesPerform data exploration, feature engineering, and statistical analysis using large, complex datasets from diverse sourcesCollaborate with data engineers, product managers, and mission stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful solutionsDeploy, monitor, and sustain AI/ML models in secure DoD environments, ensuring performance and compliance with DoD standardsVisualize and communicate analytical results to senior leaders, supporting operational decision-making and strategic planningLead and mentor junior data scientists, fostering innovation and best practices in model development and analyticsWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:Active TS/SCI security clearance at the time of hireBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics rolesProficiency in Python, R, or similar languages for statistical analysis and model developmentExperience developing and deploying AI/ML models, including supervised and unsupervised learning techniquesStrong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance in federal/DoD environmentsWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Mission Support Systems (MSS), Qlik, Databricks, War Data Platform (WDP), or AdvanaProficiency with Power Platform or Power Apps for integrating analytics with decision workflowsAdvanced visualization skills using tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BIFamiliarity with cloud analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and scalable model deploymentExperience supporting operational DoD analytics, AI/ML, or data-driven mission applicationsAdvanced degree or certifications in data science, machine learning, or cloud analyticsLeadership experience mentoring data science teams or managing analytics projectsSecurity Clearance Requirement:An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.​This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
