Job Description & Requirements

Requirements
Active RN license in the state of practice – Required
BLS certification – Required
AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS accepted
BSN – Preferred
Acute care facility experience – Preferred
EPIC experience – Required
Job Responsibilities
Provide coordinated nursing care according to established standards and the nursing process.
Assess patients and analyze clinical data to determine diagnoses and care needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Coordinate care with physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
Promote patient safety and a supportive healing environment.
Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Participate in discharge planning and ensure continuity of care.
Appropriately delegate responsibilities and coordinate healthcare team activities.
Use critical thinking and independent judgment in patient care.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
