Global Investigations & Asset Protection Inc. is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Security Guards to work in the Long Island area (11598) or candidates who are willing to travel to the location.

This position requires individuals who are approachable, patient, and comfortable working in environments with a high level of public interaction. The ideal candidate will be able to maintain a safe and welcoming atmosphere while consistently demonstrating professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and participants
• Monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols
• Control access points and verify authorized entry
• Observe and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or incidents
• Provide directions and assistance to visitors as needed
• Complete daily activity reports and incident documentation
• Serve as a positive and professional representative of the company
• Interact respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and age groups

Requirements

• Valid New York State Security Guard License
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional, friendly, and approachable demeanor
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation or ability to travel to the 11598 area
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous security, customer service, school, community program, or public-facing experience
• Experience working in environments that require frequent interaction with families and the public
• 8-Hour Annual Security Training Certificate (or ability to obtain if required)
