What You'll Do

• Complete maintenance requests in occupied and vacant apartments
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues
• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing unit turns and repairs
• Perform preventive maintenance and building inspections
• Maintain clean, safe, and attractive common areas and grounds
• Assist with building systems and mechanical equipment as needed
• Respond to emergency maintenance calls on a rotating schedule
• Work closely with leasing and maintenance teams to ensure outstanding resident satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Previous apartment, facilities, property, or building maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills in HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Professional attitude with excellent customer service skills
• Comfortable using hand tools and maintenance software systems
• Reliable, team-oriented, and interested in building a long-term career

Preferred Experience

• Multifamily/apartment maintenance
• HVAC repair and troubleshooting
• Unit turns and make-ready work
• Property management maintenance systems (PMS)

Job Type & Location: This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Omaha, NE.

Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $34.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
