CT Technologist

Research Medical Center

Job Summary The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of ionizing radiation in accordance with professional and departmental standards. The CT Tech provides high-quality computerized tomography images to physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Responsibilities You will compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table. You will start IVs for contrast injection when necessary. You will assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary. You will release patients with proper post‑procedure instructions. You will turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment. You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. Qualifications Graduate of a program with a certificate or degree in Radiologic Technology. American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registry with six months of hire if not already certified. Certification in Computerized Tomography (ARRT‑CT) required within 1 year of registry eligibility. American Heart Association or American Red Cross Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Minimum of one year hospital department experience in Diagnostic Radiology preferred.
