Maintenance SupervisorPrimary responsibilities include hands-on maintenance of the community, including overall inspection, repair, and general maintenance of market-ready apartments and other interior/exterior areas. Acts as a team leader among general maintenance staff; delegating, supervising and directing work of the department.Job AccountabilitiesPrepares or assists in preparing market-ready apartments in regards to painting, carpet cleaning, general repairs, housekeeping, etc.Performs various preventative maintenance functions and records findings in maintenance log.Completes regular community inspections.Responds to resident services requests and concerns in a timely manner.Performs emergency service as required.Assists Maintenance Director and/or Property Manager on special maintenance projects as necessary.Works along with general maintenance staff in maintaining grounds and common areas and keeping them free of trash and debris.Monitors maintenance and up-keep of all mechanical equipment to community including, but not limited to, water heaters, HVAC units, etc.As team leader, responsible for training and supervision of community maintenance staff.
