Customer Service Representative -TEMP (6 month)

Role The Customer Service Representative manages all Specialty and Retail replenishment. Description Onsite - LOA Coverage Responsibilities Manages orders for Specialty and Retail accounts. Prepares and distributes weekly open order report to review order fill-rate, ETA, credit holds and cancellations. Communicates closely with sales and the customers on all issues involving order management, production and shipping issues. Performs all order maintenance, including order entry, reviews production, proactive in requesting extensions and communicates cancellations. Coordinates dropping tickets and shipping with the distribution center including timely resolution when issues arise. Works with Credit on any issues to releasing orders for shipping. Assures quality service for accounts by resolving service problems: (a) clarifies customer’s concern; (b) selects best solution to solve problems; (c) expedites correction; and (d) follows up with sales to ensure resolution. During office hours provides “live” service to accounts and salesreps; all phone calls and e-mails are answered in a timely basis—maximum 24 hour rule on returning all voice messages/e-mails. Reports weekly order risk to the financial target. Ability to build strong rapport with both internal and external customers. Strong interpersonal skills, confident in decision-making, goal driven, takes ownership and accountability in the workplace. Profile Years of Related Professional Experience: 1-3 High School diploma Handles sensitive and confidential information, such as revenue targets and credit information. Experience with Excel; including Pivot tables helpful. Experience with EDI 850; knowledgeable in 856 helpful.
