Position: Server - Part-time and full-time opportunities Schedule: 20 to 40 hours a week. Whether you're experienced or eager to learn, we'll train you to shine. Essential Job Duties: * Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for our residents and their guests. * Have knowledge of all current offerings and specials. * Properly carry and handle service trays in a safe and professional manner. * Learn the department's steps of service throughout the meal period, answering questions, and making appropriate suggestions regarding food and beverages. * Maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of side stations and equipment, reporting any equipment problems immediately to the manager. Keep service items restocked as needed throughout the service period. * Fulfill all assigned side work during and prior to the end of your shift. * Assists with dish washing and distribution of clean dishes if needed. * Attends in-service training and education sessions as assigned. * Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications: * Ability to interpret and explain menu, refer, or answer questions, coordinate meal service process and understand requests. * Ability to work in close cooperation with residents, guests, visitors, families, management and peers. * Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively. All new hires must be able to pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
