Human Resources Business Partner

As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be responsible for aligning the business objectives with the employees and management in designated business units. You will serve as a consultant to the management on human resources-related issues and act as an employee champion and a change agent. You will also assess and anticipate the HR needs of the business units and communicate proactively with the HR department and the business management to develop integrated solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities:

• Partner with the business units to deliver value-added services such as talent management, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and compensation and benefits.
• Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR department to develop programs, policies, and initiatives that address the current and future needs of the business units.
• Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews.
• Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances in collaboration with the HR department and the legal team.
• Work closely with the management and the employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to the business units and ensure compliance with the local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Identify training needs for the business units and individual coaching needs and coordinate with the HR department to design and deliver appropriate solutions.
• Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of the effectiveness of the HR programs and initiatives and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of the HR functions and best practices, including talent management, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills and the ability to build rapport and trust with the management and the employees at all levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills and the ability to use data and metrics to support recommendations and actions.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, ethical standards and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced and changing environment.

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Human Resources Specialist or a similar role in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software and systems.
• SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.

Travel Requirements:

• Flexibility to travel on short notice for urgent business needs, to attend meetings, trainings, and events.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance during business trips.
• Compliance with company travel policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
• Ability to use a computer, phone, printer, scanner, and other office equipment.

• Visual acuity for detailed work and computer use

• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 10 pounds of files, documents, and materials.
