Join Our Team as a Chemical Specialist - Field Support with Impact in Oil & Gas Operations! We're seeking a detail-oriented Chemical Specialist to provide critical field support in the Dilley or Carrizo Springs, TX area. What You'll Do: Assist in the hands-on application of chemical treatments at wellheads, pipelines, and production sites. Maintain and calibrate chemical injection and gas treating equipment, troubleshooting issues to keep operations running smoothly. Perform routine chemical monitoring, adjusting injection rates to optimize performance based on established protocols. Collect and analyze fluid samples, conducting field tests to evaluate treatment effectiveness, and collaborate with vendors and pigging operations. Follow safety procedures meticulously, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory standards. Gather and report detailed data on equipment performance, chemical usage, and operational activities. Support operational optimization by adjusting treatments based on data insights. Assist in failure analysis by collecting samples and witnessing equipment tear-downs, contributing to long-term reliability. Ensure all activities meet industry regulations, especially regarding hazardous chemicals, H2S reduction, and waste disposal. What We're Looking For: Tech-savvy support experience from Aegis, Baker Hughes, Multichem, or similar companies. Strong mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting and maintenance skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially data organization, reporting, and analysis. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and resolve operational challenges. Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented attitude. Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather, lift up to 50 lbs, and travel daily across South Texas. Preferred Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant industry experience will also be considered. Prior experience supporting chemical applications within oil & gas operations. Knowledge of safety regulations, chemical handling, and gas treating systems. Additional Requirements: Must be willing to travel daily throughout South Texas.
