Registered Nurse - House Supervisor

Job Description

Job Summary:
Seeking a highly skilled House Supervisor RN to oversee operations and ensure quality patient care on a scattered bed unit serving swing bed, detox, and medical patients. The role involves supervising staff, managing patient flow, and maintaining compliance with hospital protocols during night shifts.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and supervise nursing staff and patient care activities during night shifts.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, policies, and procedures on the unit.
• Oversee patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to optimize bed utilization.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans.
• Maintain documentation accuracy within the EPIC charting system.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate issues as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Require at least 1 year of RN experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Hold a valid NY RN license in good standing.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records and charting.
• Possess ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.
• Have experience handling subacute, detox, or medical patients.
• Exhibit strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
