Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active and valid New Jersey special education teaching license is required
• Experience supporting students at the elementary, middle, or high school level
• Strong understanding of IEPs, progress monitoring, and differentiated instruction
• Compassionate, adaptable, and patient approach to meeting individual learning needs
• Strong organizational and communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver individualized instruction to meet IEP goals and promote academic and personal growth
• Modify curriculum and assessments to accommodate student needs
• Work closely with general education teachers, instructional aides, and related service providers
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture where every student can participate and succeed
• Track and report student progress, keeping accurate and up-to-date records
• Communicate regularly with families and interdisciplinary teams about student development
