Maintenance - Driver

Reports To: Transportation Supervisor

Employment Status: Full Time

Terms of Employment: 260 Days

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or more.
• Good health, high moral character, and good attendance record.

Essential Functions:

1. Drive delivery trucks on scheduled and unscheduled trips.
2. Load, haul and unload supplies and equipment, mail, freight, and express and/or other designated items.
3. Assume responsibility for operating a schedule delivery route between the schools and central district activities.
4. Write requests for vehicle repairs and accident reports.
5. Pick up and deposit school monies daily.
6. Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Working Conditions:

1. Occasional operation of a vehicle under inclement weather conditions.
2. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds, as needed.

This position is eligible for benefits and vacation. Salary range is $19.96 - $26.44 per hour.
