Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

Registered Nurse Operating Room

Schedule: Days M-F (5 8s), rotate call

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Washington State or MultiState
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
• ACLS and PALS certification required
• Previous experience in Operating Room and Recovery Room nursing preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Promote and restore patients' health by completing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide physical and psychological support to patients, families, and friends.
• Render nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, hospital, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise assigned team members in patient care.
• Function as a circulating and/or scrub nurse in the operating room.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutically effective nursing care environment.
• Participate in 24-hour call coverage and assess for post-anesthesia and post-operative complications.
