Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 years of Circulating experience in cardiothoracic surgery required License: Active state RN license required Certifications: BCLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: 2 years of Circulating experience in cardiothoracic surgery Ability to circulate in a variety of cardiothoracic procedures Description: The Registered Nurse will work in the Operating Room. The nurse will be responsible for circulating in cardiothoracic surgery. The patient age group includes adults and geriatrics. The schedule may accommodate both 4x10 or 5x8 hour shifts. Call requirements include one first call during the week and one second call. Additional weekend call responsibilities apply. Free parking is available for staff. Scrubs will be provided by the facility. The nurse will closely work with interdisciplinary teams. The focus will be on patient-centered care and safety. Experience with assorted equipment and special procedures is essential. The environment fosters collaboration and teamwork among healthcare professionals. This role requires excellent communication and critical thinking skills. Compliance with all facility policies and procedures is mandatory. The candidate must be adaptable to changes within the facility and unit. Prior experience with Epic charting system is preferred. Travelers will float within the service line when necessary. A commitment to patient care and professional ethics is essential.
