Procurement Agent

What You’ll Do Perform procurement work under minimal supervision for high value and high impact transactions. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define specifications, scope of work, and procurement strategies for materials and services. Lead sourcing efforts including bid evaluations, supplier selection, and contract negotiations to drive value and performance. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring quality, service levels, and cost expectations are consistently met. Analyze procurement categories to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Oversee purchase orders and procurement activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery. Resolve supplier or service issues by partnering across teams and driving practical, effective solutions. What You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience. At least 4 years of related experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain. Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to evaluate contracts and commercial terms. Clear communication skills and ability to work across technical and non‑technical teams. Proficiency with standard business and procurement systems. Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through in a deadline‑driven environment. Preferred experience supporting industrial operations, utilities, or power generation environments. Professional certifications such as CPSM, CPIM, or similar.
