Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI scanner to produce cross-sectional scans and combine them into three-dimensional images for Radiologist viewing.
• Consistently obtain high-quality imaging to support accurate Radiologist interpretation.
• Utilize PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System) in daily imaging workflows.
• Maintain and enforce safety protocols for all individuals within MRI zones.
• Document patient care services accurately within hospital records.
• Interact compassionately and effectively with sick or injured patients while maintaining courteous relationships with co-workers and peers.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• ARRT certification in Radiography required.
• State of Maine Radiography licensure required.
• ARRT Radiography registration required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT MRI certification preferred.
• Prior experience working within a clinical imaging environment.
