Video Network Engineer

SimVentions, Inc. (Glassdoor 4.6) is seeking an RF Network Engineer to join our Information Technology (IT) & Cybersecurity team supporting advanced defense and aerospace programs for the Department of Defense. In this role, you will help design, implement, and optimize RF network solutions that enable secure, reliable communications across mission‑critical systems. Working alongside systems engineers, cybersecurity experts, and software developers, you will contribute to the full lifecycle of RF‑enabled networks that support complex military platforms and tactical environments. As an RF Network Engineer at SimVentions, you will apply your expertise in RF propagation, spectrum utilization, and network architecture to architect and configure end‑to‑end solutions. You will develop link budgets, perform coverage and interference analyses, and select appropriate antennas and RF components to meet stringent performance requirements. You will integrate RF subsystems with IP‑based network infrastructures, ensuring that radios, switches, routers, and security devices work together seamlessly to deliver robust, secure connectivity. You will routinely use RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, vector network analyzers, and signal generators to characterize system performance, troubleshoot interference, and validate designs against requirements. You will support integration and test activities in laboratory and field environments, assisting with installation, configuration, and verification at government and contractor facilities as needed. Working closely with cybersecurity professionals, you will also incorporate information assurance best practices and DoD cybersecurity guidelines into RF network architectures.
