Server Position at Castle Royal Service

How would you like to watch the sunset every night from the pool deck while serving guests?

As a Server, you'll deliver exceptional Royal Service by welcoming guests, taking orders, and serving food and beverages with warmth, attentiveness, and efficiency. You'll help create memorable dining experiences by anticipating guest needs, maintaining a clean and inviting environment, and working closely with the culinary team to ensure every order is delivered accurately and promptly.

Responsibilities

(May include some or all of the following as applicable)

• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately while maintaining presentation standards.
• Verify orders for accuracy, proper presentation, and appropriate accompaniments before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with Servers and culinary team members to ensure a seamless flow of service.
• Assist Servers with clearing, resetting, and maintaining clean and organized tables and dining areas.
• Monitor guest needs and provide attentive support throughout the dining experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and kitchen pass areas.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and Royal Service standards.
• Assist with additional service duties as needed to support the team and create an exceptional guest experience.
• Represent Castle Royal Service with professionalism, teamwork, urgency, and a genuine commitment to hospitality.

Education and Experience

• High School or GED preferred

• Prior experience working in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred but not required.

• Understanding of basic restaurant sanitation.

• Continuing education will be offered and administered as needed.

Skills and Abilities

• Strong communication skills and a friendly attitude are essential for success

• Multilingual preferred but not required

• Ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and follow directions from supervisors

• Ability to work fast, effectively and stay focused under pressure

• Consistently showing up on time and ready to perform all duties as assigned.

• Capability to manage multiple tables, handle orders, and maintain a clean and organized dining area simultaneously.

• Must be able to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time

Physical requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.; work in an upright standing or sitting position for long periods of time, may fluctuate. May handle, finger, grasp and lift objects and packages. Reach with hands and arms, communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information. Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required to meet the job functions; complete all required forms.

May be required to travel for training sessions off-site on an ad-hoc basis. May be occasionally required to cover for front desk staff at other communities within a reasonable commuting distance when needed.

Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements. Ability to respond to emergencies and callouts in a timely manner.

Able to work under pressure, maintain composure and utilize good judgement during emergency/difficult and stressful situations.
