Make a real impact supporting K-12 students as a contract Speech Language Pathologist in the Killeen, TX area. Work with a collaborative educational team to help young learners develop the communication skills essential for academic and social success. Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Texas SLP credential (required)
• Prior experience in a school-based setting preferred, including roles such as SLP, SLP-CFY, or similar
• Knowledge of assessment tools, IEP processes, and speech-language interventions
• Excellent communication and organization abilities
• Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary team members to support each student’s educational needs
• Maintain detailed records, progress reports, and compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Participate in meetings and provide guidance to educators and caregivers regarding speech/language concerns
