Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Managing a caseload of workers' compensation indemnity claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner II will assist in the administration and processing of claims from inception to conclusion, while working remotely in compliance with established policies and state regulations. Key responsibilities: Reviews new claim assignments and performs initial claim setup and investigation activities Communicates with claimants, medical providers, and legal counsel regarding claim status and documentation Maintains accurate claim file documentation and monitors claim activity using the Company diary system Required qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred Three or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience Technical knowledge of statutory regulations and medical terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Ability to independently manage complex claims effectively
