Civil/ Environmental Engineer

We are seeking a Civil/Environmental Engineering Project Manager to support our existing Permitting and Design practice area, including industrial stormwater and wastewater permit compliance support and treatment system design. This role offers a flexible hybrid work schedule in any one of the following office locations: Seattle, Washington or Portland, Oregon .

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Leading design and construction engineering tasks involving:

• • Preparing written engineering reports to support facility construction and permitting.
  • Implementing the engineering requirements of environmental permits, including preparing and certifying permit applications, designing corrective actions, and certifying construction completion.
  • Designing site environmental infrastructure including utilities, drainage, industrial stormwater and wastewater treatment, landfill and other environmental barriers, and monitoring systems.
  • Preparing civil engineering plans and specifications to support environmental permitting, in coordination with other professional engineers.
  • Guiding construction observation and responding to contractor RFIs and change orders.

• Managing key aspects of project delivery, including proposals, contracts, budgets, invoicing, and change management.
• Coordinating with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies and providing project administration support as needed.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships while identifying opportunities to support existing and prospective clients.
• Training and mentoring junior staff to support these engineering tasks.

This position is available for the candidate who has:

• Bachelor's degree in civil, environmental, or chemical engineering.
• 5 to 10+ years of consulting experience in major job duties listed above.
• Minimum 3-5 years’ experience using Autodesk Civil 3D or similar software for engineering design.
• PE license, or ability to obtain registration in WA and/or OR within 6 months of hire.

Landau Associates offers an excellent compensation and benefits package in an environment that promotes personal growth and professional advancement. The salary range for this position is $105,500 – $140,000. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, including education, experience, performance, location, and internal equity.
