Industrial Electrical & Controls Commissioning Technician (Cement Industry)

TheElectricalTechnicianisresponsiblefortheinstallation,inspection,maintenance,troubleshooting,andrepairofelectricalsystemsandequipmentusedinindustrialmanufacturingandcementproductionfacilities.Thepositionensuresmaximumequipmentreliabilitywhilemaintainingcompliancewithcompanysafetystandardsandallapplicableregulations. KeyResponsibilities Diagnoseelectricalfailuresandimplementeffectiverepairsolutionstominimizedowntime. Install,adjust,andmaintainmotors,transformers,switchgear,MCCs,VFDs,PLCs,sensors,relays,andinstrumentation. Assistwithequipmentcommissioning,startup,andshutdownactivities. Supportproductionteamsbyrespondingpromptlytoelectricalissues. Maintainaccuratemaintenancerecords,workorders,andinspectionreports. EnsurecompliancewithOSHA,NFPA,NEC,andallCEMEXsafetypoliciesandprocedures. Participateincontinuousimprovementinitiativestoenhanceequipmentreliabilityandplantefficiency. Performotherdutiesasassignedbymanagement. Qualifications HighSchoolDiplomaorTechnicalDegreeinElectricalTechnologyorrelatedfield. Experienceincementmanufacturing,mining,aggregates,orotherheavyindustrialenvironmentspreferred. Knowledgeof: PLCsystems VariableFrequencyDrives(VFDs) AC/DCmotorsandcontrols Electricalinstrumentation Preventiveandpredictivemaintenance Abilitytoreadelectricaldrawingsandtechnicaldocumentation. Abilitytoworkindependentlyandaspartofamultidisciplinarymaintenanceteam. Validdriver'slicense. Knowledge,Skills&Abilities Preventiveandpredictivemaintenance. ElectricalsafetyandLockout/Tagout(LOTO). PLCandmotorcontrolsystems. Instrumentationandprocesscontrol. Commitmenttoworkplacesafetyandcontinuousimprovement. WorkingConditions Industrialmanufacturingenvironment.
