Academic Pediatric Neurologist

Position Summary

We’re growing and seeking Pediatric Neurologists (BC/BE) to join the collegial, expanding team at CHRISTUS Children’s – a free‑standing, academic, not‑for‑profit children’s hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

The Division comprises five board‑certified pediatric neurologists (including two epileptologists), three developmental behavioral/neurodevelopmental pediatricians, and two full‑time PNPs (one for Epilepsy). Primary responsibilities include outpatient clinics and shared inpatient rotations with call duties, trainee education, and clinical research (optional). The Voelcker Clinical Research Center supports faculty.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient clinics and shared inpatient rotations with call duties.
• Provide trainee education and mentorship.
• Engage in clinical research (optional).

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or MD/PhD degree.
• Board‑certified or eligible for Board‑certification in Pediatric Neurology.
• Eligible for a Texas medical license (or already licensed).
• Academic credentials and experience will determine rank and appointment.
