Senior Service Account Manager – Commercial Roofing & Waterproofing

Location: Austin, TX
Compensation: Up to $150,000 depending on experience
Full-Time

An established commercial roofing and waterproofing contractor is looking for a Senior Service Account Manager to join its Austin team.

This is a senior-level position combining commercial roofing/waterproofing sales, estimating, client management and team leadership .

You'll take ownership of key client relationships, identify and estimate larger remedial opportunities, and lead a team focused on growing existing accounts. This is a strong opportunity for someone who knows the commercial roofing or waterproofing market and wants greater responsibility for clients, revenue and team development.

What You'll Do

• Develop and grow relationships with commercial clients, property owners, facility teams, consultants and general contractors

• Identify, estimate and sell remedial projects valued at $150K+

• Perform field observations, inspections and site assessments

• Prepare estimates, scopes and proposals

• Review drawings, specifications and construction documents

• Manage opportunities from initial inspection through proposal, contract and project execution

• Lead client meetings and provide technical recommendations

• Manage change orders and verify contract scope

• Lead and develop Account Managers and estimating/support staff

• Monitor sales activity, account growth and customer share

• Participate in industry associations and maintain strong market relationships

What We're Looking For

• Strong experience in commercial roofing, waterproofing or building envelope

• Proven estimating and proposal development experience

• Experience with remedial, restoration and/or service work

• Strong sales and client relationship management background

• Existing industry relationships or client base preferred

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Understanding of commercial roofing/waterproofing systems, moisture intrusion, wind uplift, materials and installation methods

• Leadership experience with the ability to coach and develop others

• Strong negotiation, communication and problem-solving skills

• Estimating software and Microsoft Office proficiency

• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

Experience

A four-year degree is preferred but not required.

Candidates without a degree should have 10+ years of construction experience, including at least 5 years of estimating experience .

A valid driver's license and the ability to perform field/site inspections are required.
