Design Quality Engineer

Role: Design Quality Engineer

Location: Warsaw, IN

Rate: $39/hr - $43/hr W2.

Requirements:

The Design Quality Engineer will be working on a 3D printed product made of plastic that is designed as a custom product for each individual patient and therefore can pose unique challenges when it comes to the design quality.
The Engineer will help problem solve and mitigating issues, write NCRs, work cross functionally with software and hardware teams although they will focus more on the hardware side that would govern design controls.
This person will also be reviewing documents authored by development engineers to perform gap analysis to make sure the documents contain all elements within governed procedures.
The Engineer will be responsible for understanding risk assessment, analysis and mitigation as well.
Part of this role will involve working with suppliers, so good communication skills are crucial
Other activities may include also authoring and executing NCRs and CAPAs, product reviews, and FMEAs.
