Sibanye-Stillwater is hiring a Mechanical Reduction Operator to join our 3rd Shift team in Greenville, NC .

You’ll play an important role in keeping our recycling operations moving by operating industrial processing equipment, preparing materials, and maintaining a safe and efficient production area. If you’re dependable, comfortable working with equipment, and looking for an opportunity to build your manufacturing experience, this may be the role for you.

What You’ll Do

• Operate equipment such as ball mills, blenders, crushers, de-caners, and drum tilters
• Use a forklift to safely move and weigh materials
• Prepare and process materials according to established procedures
• Verify material information and complete production documentation accurately
• Identify and report material, weight, labeling, or equipment concerns
• Clean equipment and maintain a safe, organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
• Work with your team to keep overnight production running safely and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Manufacturing, warehouse, production, or industrial experience preferred
• Forklift or machine operating experience is a plus
• Comfortable working around industrial equipment
• Ability to follow instructions and complete basic production documentation
• Dependable and comfortable working an overnight schedule
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and be trained on our equipment and processes
• Reliable transportation to our Greenville facility

Schedule & Pay

• 3rd Shift: Monday through Friday - 10 PM to 6:30 AM  
• $20.00 per hour
• Full-time, onsite position
• Overtime may be available or required based on operational needs

Physical & Work Requirements

This is an active manufacturing position requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs., push or pull heavier drums and equipment, stand for extended periods, and regularly bend, reach, push, and pull.

Employees work in an industrial environment and must wear required PPE, which may include safety glasses, safety footwear, gloves, hearing protection, protective clothing, and respiratory protection.

The position may involve work around hazardous and universal waste. Required safety and RCRA training will be provided.

Candidates must meet applicable ITAR requirements and successfully complete required pre-employment screening.
