Position Highlights As Associate Program Director for Ambulatory & Community Medicine, you will play a key role in designing and continuously improving the residency experience in outpatient and community-based medicine. Working closely with the Program Director, you will have the opportunity to help define what excellent ambulatory medical education looks like within a growing residency program. Educational Leadership: Lead and continuously evolve the ambulatory and community medicine curriculum, with opportunities to develop innovative approaches to longitudinal learning, primary care, population health, and community-based care. Teaching and Mentorship: Teach and mentor medical students and residents while helping learners develop clinical reasoning, communication, leadership, and professional identity. Requirements Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine Passion for Medical Education: Demonstrated interest in teaching, mentoring, and developing physicians Leadership and Academic Interest: Demonstrated leadership experience or a strong interest in developing as a leader within graduate medical education Patient-Centered Approach: Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, high-quality care Arizona Medical Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for Arizona state medical licensure Why Join Us?
