Respiratory Therapist - RRT

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, weekend rotation required.

Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients as per established protocols and patient care guidelines. Responsibilities include managing ventilator settings, administering nebulizer treatments, and ensuring proper oxygen delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments including nebulizers and oxygen therapy.
• Monitor and manage ventilator support for patients.
• Perform assessments and maintain communication with the healthcare team.
• Ensure proper documentation in EMR systems.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RRT certification.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required.
• Experience in an ICU, NICU, or PICU setting is preferred.
