Production Manager
This role requires strong leadership skills along with hands-on experience with mechanical punch presses. The ideal candidate will be comfortable on the shop floor, troubleshooting equipment, developing employees, and improving safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements of the Production Manager
- Minimum 5 years of experience setting up and operating mechanical punch presses.
- Strong knowledge of Wintress or Link Press Controls.
- Experience setting up, programming, and troubleshooting die protection systems.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Previous production supervision or management experience.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities of the Production Manager
- Lead and develop a 21-person team across production, quality, shipping, and receiving.
- Schedule and monitor production to meet quality and delivery goals.
- Hire, train, and develop production employees.
- Troubleshoot mechanical punch presses, dies, and manufacturing processes.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and minimize equipment downtime.
- Lead corrective actions and root-cause problem solving.
- Monitor WIP inventory and production performance.
- Maintain a visible presence on the shop floor.
- Drive continuous improvement, efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives.
1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $85,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience
