Field Service Technician

LS ELECTRIC AMERICA ("LSEA"), previously known as LG Industrial Systems, a global manufacturer and supplier of electrical equipment and products, is looking to establish its presence in the North American market under its own brand name. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Service Technician to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing technical service support on LV and MV electrical distribution Equipment. This role ensures seamless integration of our systems and provides exceptional after-sales service to meet customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Conduct inspection, testing, calibration, adjusting, part component replacement services and warranty work with various tools such as power tools, electrical test equipment. Ensure effective communication with clients during service activities. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction. Maintain accurate records of Service, testing, and maintenance activities. Travel for service and other activities Skills Required for the position. Vocational education, military training, or transferable experience in electrical theory or similar discipline. Proven experience in installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and maintenance in some or all the following areas: low or Medium Voltage switchgear, Transformer, Relay Protection System (Not mandatory but preferred) Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Bilingual preferred. (Korean and English) Not a mandatory requirement. Additional information The work primarily involves internal repairs, with occasional visits to customer sites or distributors as needed. Work week is 40 hours with rare instances of unpaid overtime.
