General Dentist Opportunity

Blue Jay Dental has a client with a need for a general dentist to start immediately in Charleston, IL. Highly successful practice in the area has an opportunity for a motivated general dentist. Dentist office hours are Monday through Thursday. The dentist practice features newer equipment with digital x-ray and laser. The age ranges of the patient population are mixed. The compensation is excellent starting pay to help establish a new dentist. Responsibilities of the dentist include providing diagnosis of patient's dental status utilizing accepted clinical and radiological techniques, assessing patient's dental status and arranging for appropriate consultations to determine treatment needed, providing comprehensive professional dental treatment to address the oral health needs of patients, providing routine recall exams, simple extractions, restorations, prosthetic services, prophylaxis and fluoride treatments, referring to dental specialists when appropriate, managing administrative functions of the dental office, and supervising the work of dental hygienists and dental assistants. Requirements of the dentist include a DMD or DDS from an accredited dental school, an IL license and DEA, willingness to live and be part of the community of Charleston, IL, competence in all facets of general dentistry, and a strong focus on clinical excellence.
