Registered Nurse – Telemetry

Location: Hopewell, VA

Unit: Telemetry – 2SB (23-bed unit)

Job Type: Contract

About the Unit
  • 23 beds | 28 total staff
  • Ratios: 1:4–1:5
  • Day shift: Charge RN, 3–4 RNs, 1–3 PCTs, 1 Unit Secretary
  • Night shift: Charge RN, 3–4 RNs, 1–3 PCTs
  • Equipment: Telemetry
  • Floats to: Med/Surg, PCU (if experienced)
Requirements
  • Telemetry experience
  • Cardiac drips experience
  • Active RN License (state as applicable)
  • AHA BLS & ACLS
Preferred
  • Strong cardiac background
  • SD/PCU experience
Typical Procedures
  • Line placements
  • Dialysis
Schedule
  • Every other weekend required
  • 12-hour shifts (Days/Nights depending on availability)
  • No on-call unless assigned
Dress Code
  • All black scrubs
  • OR black pants + red top
