Production Planner II

Job Description As a Production Planner II at Honeywell, you will support the global supply chain network by gathering and managing information about our businesses’ capacity to meet customer demand. In this role you will support and improve the supply‑chain planning and execution process. You will create and maintain a valid master schedule for material and capacity, effectively balance supply and demand, and ensure that emerging program master production schedules are executable. As the Master Scheduler, you will lead activities related to the purchase of material, material planning, production planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving. You will work autonomously to achieve organizational objectives and drive functional excellence and continuous improvement, collaborating with global cross‑functional teams to support complex projects. Responsibilities Create and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and optimize inventory levels. Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to align production plans with customer requirements and production capacity. Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components. Optimize production lead times and minimize production costs through effective planning and scheduling. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to production planning activities. Qualifications 2+ years of Production Planning, Operations Planning/Scheduling, or Materials Management within a manufacturing environment, preferably defense and aerospace. 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment. 2+ years planning experience in SAP ERP system. U.S. Citizen or Lawful Permanent Resident status. We value the following qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. Experience in Planning, Materials Management, Operations, SIOP, Inventory Management, MRP/MPS, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing. Experience in Kinaxis RapidResponse (or Maestro) highly preferred. APICS or CPIM Certification. Strong project management and problem‑solving skills. Ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of the organization. Expertise in leading and driving change and mentoring new leaders or peers. Expertise across professional disciplines within the material management function. Compensation The salary range for this position is $66,000 to $100,000, depending on experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
