Registered Nurse - Outpatient Surgery
The RN in the Outpatient Surgery unit will be responsible for scrubbing and circulating surgical cases. Candidates must possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Experience should include handling abdominal and vaginal hysterectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, and various orthopedic procedures. The role requires proficiency in using a charting system, specifically Epic. An understanding of patient demographics, including adolescents, infants, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is necessary. Candidates must be able to work well in a collaborative environment and provide excellent patient care. Familiarity with surgical techniques in a variety of specialties is essential in this role. Potential candidates should be ready to complete onboarding documents before the start of their assignment. Hard stop: Must scrub and circulate during surgeries.
