Senior Payroll Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Payroll Manager to lead end-to-end payroll operations for 500+ employees in a complex, multi-state environment. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement across payroll systems and processes. What You’ll Do Own full-cycle payroll for salaried, hourly, bonus, and incentive compensation Lead, develop, and hold accountable a high‑performing payroll team Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including union payrolls Serve as the escalation point for complex payroll and tax issues Oversee payroll tax filings, garnishments, benefits deductions, and year‑end processes (W‑2s) Lead 401(k) audits and filings (5500s) Drive process improvements, automation, and system enhancements Partner cross-functionally with HR, Finance, and Legal to support business growth What We’re Looking For 8+ years of progressive payroll experience, including people leadership Strong background in union, multi-state, and multi-entity payrolls Hands‑on experience with ADP, Paychex, or Paylocity Experience with system implementations, integrations, or M&A environments Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field CPP certification strongly preferred If you thrive in a fast‑paced environment and enjoy building scalable, compliant payroll operations, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact. #J-18808-Ljbffr SBI Partners
