Key facts Location: Berlin Engagement: Full-time What you'll do Lead the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless user experience across all digital touchpoints. Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights that inform design decisions and enhance user satisfaction. Collaborate with product managers to define design requirements and translate them into intuitive user interfaces. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that effectively communicate design ideas and user flows. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain design integrity throughout the development process. Establish and maintain a design system that promotes consistency and efficiency across all products. Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation within the design team. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, integrating new ideas into the design process to keep our platform competitive. Analyze user feedback and analytics to continuously iterate and improve the product experience. Participate in cross-functional meetings to align design strategies with business objectives and user needs. Advocate for user-centered design principles within the organization, ensuring that the voice of the user is always considered. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders, effectively communicating the value of design in achieving business goals. Requirements A minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, preferably in the tech or fitness industry. Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software. Strong portfolio showcasing a range of design projects, with a focus on user experience and interface design. Experience conducting user research and usability testing, with the ability to synthesize findings into actionable design improvements. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate design concepts to non-design stakeholders. Strong understanding of responsive design principles and best practices for mobile and web applications. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Nice to have Familiarity with front-end development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experience with data-driven design and analytics tools to inform design decisions. Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices in design. Previous experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities. Passion for fitness and wellness, with an understanding of the industry landscape and user needs.
