Position Overview

We're hiring a Full-Time Account Representative to join our growing team!

This is a sales-focused position that combines new customer acquisition, relationship building, and exceptional customer service. You'll play an important role in helping our agency grow by connecting with prospective customers, identifying insurance needs, presenting coverage options, and developing relationships with the people we serve.

While sales and business development are primary responsibilities, you'll also assist existing customers with their insurance needs, ensuring they continue to receive the personal attention and service our agency is known for.

Previous insurance experience or licensing is not required to apply. However, obtaining the necessary insurance licenses will be required as part of your employment. All required study materials and licensing expenses will be paid for by the agent.

This position offers a base salary with the opportunity to earn additional income through sales commissions , making it an excellent opportunity for someone who is motivated to grow professionally and financially.

Responsibilities

As an Account Representative, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both our customers and the success of our agency.

Sales & Business Development

• Develop relationships with prospective customers through phone calls, referrals, networking, and other outreach opportunities.

• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance products and coverage options once properly licensed.

• Prepare and present insurance quotes to prospective and existing customers.

• Follow up consistently with prospects and customers to develop new business opportunities.

• Identify opportunities to help existing customers better protect their families, property, and financial well-being.

• Ask for referrals and actively contribute to the agency's growth.

• Work toward individual and team sales goals while maintaining a customer-first approach.

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer conversations, and follow-up opportunities.

Customer Service & Relationship Management

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers warmly and professionally.

• Assist customers with questions regarding their policies, billing, payments, and coverage.

• Process policy changes and service requests within the scope of your licensing and authority.

• Schedule and conduct customer insurance reviews to help identify changing needs.

• Maintain accurate customer records and update account information.

• Assist customers through the claims process by providing guidance and connecting them with the appropriate resources.

• Follow up with customers to ensure their questions and concerns have been addressed.

• Support daily office operations and collaborate with team members to provide an exceptional customer experience.
