Registered Nurse - Burn ICU - FT - Days

Job Summary Provides age‑appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care, maintains a safe environment, educates patients and families, assures continuity of care, coordinates care across settings and among caregivers, manages information, communicates effectively, utilizes technology, and employs the nursing process to plan and deliver care. Additional roles include advocacy, performance improvement, leadership, problem solving, delegation, conflict resolution, and teamwork. Qualifications A minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing is required. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing is strongly preferred. One (1) or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse is required. Specific area of specialty previous experience is preferred. Current Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse is required. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) health‑care provider card is required. ACLS Certification is required for all the following areas. New graduates must obtain within 90 days of employment: All Critical Care Emergency Care Center (ECC) GI/Cath Laboratory Labor & Delivery All Intermediate Care Post Acute Care Unit (PACU) Core Competencies Patient‑Centered Care – Demonstrates a commitment to delivering safe, compassionate, and high‑quality care that prioritizes the well‑being and satisfaction of patients and their families.
