Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into the next chapter of your career as a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting students for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This contract position offers an opportunity to provide meaningful intervention and services within a supportive, professional school environment located near Tacoma, WA.

As part of a collaborative and mission-driven team, you’ll address speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders, making a direct impact on students’ educational experiences. Your work will span the entire school year, from August 31st, 2026, through June 15th, 2027, with a commitment of 35-37.5 hours across five onsite days per week.

Qualifications and Experience Sought:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid Washington state SLP license (or eligibility to obtain before start date)
• Experience working with school-aged children
• Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
• Commitment to providing services onsite only

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
• Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, tailored to individual needs
• Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families
• Document progress and maintain detailed student records
• Participate in meetings, parent conferences, and staff professional development
