A pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to provide excellent medication distribution and customer service in a dynamic healthcare setting in the Portland, OR area. This per diem role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in pharmacy operations, ensuring safe and efficient dispensing of medications while educating customers on proper usage.

Location:

• Portland, OR

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM (8.5 hours per day)
• Total weekly hours: 42.5

Responsibilities:

• Accurately distribute prescription medications as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare practitioners.
• Offer thorough information to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage.
• Maintain strong focus on superior customer service to enhance patient satisfaction.
• Support pharmacy operations with attention to compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Active Oregon pharmacist license is required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy or long-term care is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
