Service Foreman

The Service Foreman oversees daily roofing operations on assigned projects, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. This role provides on-site leadership to crew/s, coordinates materials and equipment, and maintains strong communication with the Service Production Manager, customers, and team members. The Foreman ensures the crew follows all safety protocols and delivers exceptional workmanship on every job. Roles, Responsibilities: Lead and supervise roofing crew/s on commercial service scope, projects including maintenance and repairs. Ensure all work is performed according to company standards, manufacturer specifications, and safety regulations. Coordinate daily project activities, including labor, materials, and equipment needs. Monitor job site progress, quality, and compliance. Enforce safety policies and ensure all workers adhere to OSHA and company safety guidelines. Communicate project status updates, challenges, and progress reports to the Service Operations Manager. Collaborate with the team to identify potential changes, delays, or cost impacts. Review and verify daily field reports and job site documentation such as photos. Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and crews. Qualifications, Certifications, Educational Requirements 3-5 years of roofing experience; prior foreman or lead installer experience preferred. Strong knowledge of roofing systems shingles, TPO, EPDM, metal, and coatings. Ability to read/understand scopes and job specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset. Strong attention to detail and organization. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple job sites. Must be able to work with a fast paced team, multiple projects/jobs and environment. physical requirements Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull 50-75 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed. Ability to climb ladders , scaffolding, and access roofs of varying heights multiple times per day. Ability to work at heights , on steep slopes, and on uneven or elevated surfaces for extended periods. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment with proper dexterity and strength. Ability to work in outdoor environments including extreme heat, cold, wind, and sun exposure. Ability to maintain balance, coordination, and awareness while carrying materials or moving across the roof. Ability to tolerate dust, debris, noise , and other typical jobsite conditions.
