As a member of our team you'll enjoy excellent benefits, opportunities for growth, and an encouraging culture that supports work / life balance.**Electrician**Reports to: Area Coordinator (AC)General Expectations:Team members are expected to set a good example and uphold quality, safety, work pace, attitude and attendance. Team members should also have a good understanding of the following duties/responsibilities, skills, knowledge, and abilities required, as well as the ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.Duties / Responsibilities:* Report to AC each morning prior to the start of the work shift.* Check in with AC before leaving for the day.* Work the hours needed to complete assigned tasks for the day. (8hr shifts with the possibility of overtime)* Must be safety conscious and will be required to report safety concerns to EHS Manager or AC.* Uphold established quality and performance expectations.* Maintain adequate production pace to meet required production schedules.* Demonstrate willingness to teamwork to meet performance objectives.* Ensure daily adherence to cleaning initiatives and help keep work area organized.* Demonstrate continuous willingness to learn and grow within the home building facility.* Demonstrate honesty in all situations.* Adhere to all company policies.Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.* Experience in construction and/or production preferred.Physical requirements* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.* Ability to be on your feet (standing and/or walking) for up to 4 hours at a time.* Ability to perform a job that includes but is not limited to repetitive stooping, bending, crouching, crawling, pushing, pulling and/or reaching overhead.* Ability to safely handle and use various power tools and guns that range in weight of 1 – 5 lbs.* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting all general physical demands of the job.Why Clayton?Clayton is a vertically integrated housing company that builds, sells, and insures affordable housing.
