Laboratory Technician

Serve in a CPD department support role within Laboratory Operations working to support installation, setup, and troubleshooting of new lab equipment. Responsibilities Locate and support roles below at NBR BMS site Execute day to day procedures necessary to facilitate compound request fulfillment and other inventory management functions Catalog compounds with new labels Implement quality control of instrumentation and utilization of inventory management software Complete work orders related to sample management Install and deploy small equipment throughout the labs Qualifications Required B.S. in the physical, biological sciences or engineering with 0 to 3 years of experience. Experience in compound management preferred, with a demonstrated record of competency working in a chemistry or biology laboratory. Ability to use an analytical balance and/or operate a liquid handling instruments for the fulfillment of multiple order types within Compound Management desired. Demonstrated problem solving skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Successful candidate should be able to work independently as well as in a team setting. 100% onsite Work Schedule: Mon-Fri(normal business hours) Duration: 4 months Not all inclusive; other responsibilities may be added. Compensation: $25 - $27.20/hr (subject to change). Final compensation determined by employer of record.
