ESTIMATOR

Estimator Position

Arriscraft, a division of General Shale Brick, is seeking an Estimator for our facility in Fort Valley, GA. This position is hands-on in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Cast Stone Estimator Primary Responsibilities

• Thoroughly review project documents, including architectural plans, and specifications.
• Create quantity takeoffs by measuring project elements from drawings to determine the required quantities of materials.
• Apply unit costs to calculated quantities to develop accurate project cost estimates.
• Collaborate with sales teams and clients to clarify project details and address questions regarding cost estimates.
• Serve as the point of contact for customer correspondence regarding projects and design aspects, and contact customers as needed for additional information.
• Keep organized records for all design projects in files and computer form.
• Maintain quote schedule logs.

Cast Stone Estimator Experience

• 2 years of experience as a construction or manufacturing estimator.
• Experience using On-Screen-Takeoff or similar material take-off software is a plus.
• Masonry product experience is preferred.

Cast Stone Estimator Skills & Abilities

• Must be computer literate: Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Must have the ability to interpret complex architectural plans.
• Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
• Must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must have the ability to work independently, multitask and prioritize.
• Must have strong communication skills.

Salary is based on experience.
