Key Responsibilities of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring patients
• Monitor maternal and fetal health throughout the labor process
• Administer medications and interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal care
• Educate patients and families about childbirth and postpartum care

Requirements of the RN - Labor and Delivery

• Active RN license in North Carolina
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• At least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
