Phlebotomist-Patient Service Center (Part Time)

Job Overview Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to work in Marietta, GA. Work schedule: Monday‑Friday 8:00am – 1:00pm and rotating Saturdays. Every third Saturday 8:00am–1:00pm (no lunch break). Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program. 1year or more experience as a phlebotomist. 1year or more hospital experience. Preferred Qualifications 3years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills, written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.
