This is demonstrated in base-line and comparative documentation, entered in a timely manner, and with evidence of age-appropriate consideration when care is planned, delivered, and evaluated.The Ideal CandidateThe ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:Previous experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or surgical nursingStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environmentKnowledge of sterile techniques and patient safety protocolsExperience with EMR systems preferredOperating Room or procedural nursing experiencePatient education and care coordinationResponsibilities:Assist surgeons during in-office proceduresPrepare patients for surgery, including pre-op education and documentationProvide post-operative care and patient instructionsMonitor patient recovery and respond to concerns or complicationsMaintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with regulationsEnsure a clean, safe, and efficient clinical environmentUses the nursing process to assess, plan, and evaluate the care of cancer patients and families. Integrates patient and family centered care and the quality caring factors into practiceIdentifies, documents, and provides patient education based on learning needs of the patientParticipates in Evidence based improvement activities related to area of practiceParticipates in professional development based on the nursing professionals standards, regulatory requirements, and job expectationsCredentials and Qualifications:BSN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with at least 1 year of relevant experience or ASN from an ACEN or CCNE accredited institution with 1 year of relevant experienceFL RN LicenseAn applicant for this position, who will be or is seeking Florida licensure by endorsement, must not have any National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB) reports, unless the applicant has successfully appealed to have their name removed from the NPDB.
