Salary: $81,000 - 121,000 per year Requirements:

• Experience with one or more programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Java.
• Basic understanding of relational database concepts, including tables, indexes, transactions, and SQL.
• Familiarity with software development fundamentals such as version control, code reviews, and testing.
• Strong problem-solving ability and a willingness to learn enterprise database platforms and tooling.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based, large-scale technology environment.
• Exposure to database platforms such as SQL Server, Snowflake, or similar enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting or maintaining internal tools, scripts, or shared libraries.

• Help develop and maintain internal database tooling, services, and automation for provisioning, access management, schema changes, and operational validation.
• Build and improve scripts, services, and utilities using Python, Perl, Java, or similar languages with support from senior engineers.
• Assist in modernizing legacy scripts and workflows into more scalable, service-based, or API-driven solutions.
• Support application teams with database development needs, including schema design guidance, SQL review, and adherence to database standards.
• Help implement and maintain guardrails, validations, and checks that strengthen performance, reliability, and security across database platforms.
• Learn and apply best practices across relational and cloud database technologies.
• Support automation initiatives that reduce manual operational effort and improve consistency across environments.
• Participate in incident analysis and contribute code fixes or tooling improvements that help prevent recurrence.
• Improve observability and transparency through logging, monitoring integration, and tooling enhancements.
• Work collaboratively with global DBA, platform, and application engineering teams across time zones.
• Take part in code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
